It is often your customer’s first impression therefore, it is important to create an area that is cohesive with your company vision and has that special “wow” factor.  Choose decorations and furniture wisely to create a warm and inviting atmosphere but still maintaining a professional tone.

Select colours that create a warm, inviting area that reflect your branding. If your company colours are too overwhelming or have negative emotional connotations when used in larger spaces, consider using them as accents on a more neutral palate. Areas to accent include chairs, pot plants, cushions and decorative pieces like a vase, art prints or cups.

Add that personal touch……

Show how much you value your customer by providing little extras – pitchers of fresh water or coffee, a bowl of M&M’s,  or freshly baked cookies can tame a cranky client. Other extras can include free Wi-Fi, music, magazines, notepaper and pens for people to record notes and to-do lists while they wait.

The thought that colour can influences moods and behavior is proven by academic studies and our own personal experience. Exactly how does colour work on our psyche is still a topic of much interest.

Here are our tips ….. contact us for a more in depth consultation

Green and Blue – Walls painted with these colours can create feelings of calm and relaxation in employees.

Yellow and Orange – These colours, associated with the sun, make a person feel warm and happy.

Red – This colour can stimulate and excite employees. It can increase respiration, heart rate and brain activity.

White – Another highly reflective colour, white can be a cause of eyestrain.

Carefully chosen right artwork in a boardroom can raise the energy level as well as represent your company with style and class.

Most people interpret situations with their visual senses,  art can help to convey your company beliefs & values to staff and clients.

Working with an interior consultation can help you to determine the best colour choices & artwork for your boardroom. Different images convey certain moods, characteristics, and sentiments.  Artwork can make a big difference to the atmosphere and give your boardroom that finishing touch.
