what does your reception area say about you……

Your reception area is a marketing venue for your company.

It is often your customer’s first impression therefore, it is important to create an area that is cohesive with your company vision and has that special “wow” factor.  Choose decorations and furniture wisely to create a warm and inviting atmosphere but still maintaining a professional tone.

Select colours that create a warm, inviting area that reflect your branding. If your company colours are too overwhelming or have negative emotional connotations when used in larger spaces, consider using them as accents on a more neutral palate. Areas to accent include chairs, pot plants, cushions and decorative pieces like a vase, art prints or cups.

Add that personal touch……

Show how much you value your customer by providing little extras – pitchers of fresh water or coffee, a bowl of M&M’s,  or freshly baked cookies can tame a cranky client. Other extras can include free Wi-Fi, music, magazines, notepaper and pens for people to record notes and to-do lists while they wait.
